Celebrate 20 Years of Huey’s Poplar Location

Cheers to 20 years! The famed Memphis establishment is celebrating 20 years of their Huey’s Poplar location in East Memphis on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

The Poplar location, 4872 Poplar Ave., will celebrate with specials while also celebrating its recent renovation. 

Here are the specials for the celebration:

  • All-day throw-back pricing on the World Famous Huey Burger, fan-favorite Potato Soup, and homemade Lemon Icebox Pie
  • All Day 2-for-1 beer specials on Bud Light and Miller Lite
  • Celebratory cake (that will, of course, resemble a burger)
  • Live Music by Gerry Finney (3-6pm) and The Bugaloos (7-10pm)

 

The renovation includes an upgraded dining room floor and bartop with additional amenity upgrades but the big change guests will see and enjoy is the new enclosed patio with 60+ seating and large TVs.

Huey’s has been in the business of burgers since 1970 and has since grown to ten Memphis-area locations.

All paired with a Beale Street Brewing Space Age Sippin’.

Your most memorable Memphis moment:

College GameDay on Beale Street. That was an electric and perfect morning. I was still working in news then and was able to take it in up close and on the stage at some points. The fun and joy of everyone down there that morning is unbeatable.
