If you like getting festive and flapper-y, the Memphis Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (MAND) invites you to party with them on Friday, March 6, 2015. It's the third annual Eat Right to Fight Hunger Gala, and the Roaring 20s theme includes live music, dancing, a silent auction, plus plenty of food and libations. 

The Gala is at the Pink Palace. The tickets are $60 for individual tickets, $100 per couple, or $375 for a table of eight. 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit the Grow Memphis. Get tickets here.

If you don't know – Grow Memphis is a local non-profit that provides support, training, and management for the gardens and community gardeners in 38 different plots around the city, like the Orange Mound Community Garden.
