If you want to experience a nice dose of local art, food, and music, head to Sideways Media: Underground on December 14 at Kudzu's Bar & Grill. 

DJ Funke will be there, along with The Winter Sounds. There will be drink specials and a special show food menu.  The cost is $5 to get in and you can get tickets here.

As for the vendors, I'm excited that Underground will feature all local lady artists and bakers. On the roster: Pretia Kemp, Summer Kienitz, Gail Shelton, Felicia Wheeler, Kim Brown, PrettyPurpleElephant Creative Works, CornCases, Dolly Herciuk, Pam Jackson, and Makedas Cookies, also known as the best cookies in the world.

These gals will have pottery, jewelry, baked goods, and accessories, all with an edgier twist than the usual monogram-and-animal-print stuff you've seen over and over again. So head over to Kudzu's on December 14 and support your fellow creative Memphians.
