Pi(e) Day is Thursday. Here's where to get a slice in Memphis

Thursday, March 14 is Pi Day (3/14, get it? Of course you do.) and that means that you should celebrate by eating delicious, tasty pie.

You can get slices of pie at Muddy's Bakeshop, Cafe Eclectic or  Pie Folks (a pie-only bakery in Germantown).

Hog and Hominy has an amazing peanut butter pie, and Three Angels Diner usually has at least one pie on their dessert menu (today, they had  lemon ice box and chocolate). Also, Sweet Grass and its sister restaurant, Sweet Grass Next Door, both have fantastic deep dish sour cream apple pie slices. If coconut is your thing, Germantown Commissary has a coconut cream pie that tastes like it was made by the angels from fluffy clouds.

Or, you could always go low budget and celebrate with a Moon Pie in the flavor of your choosing.

How are you celebrating Pi(e) Day?

My husband and I love Pie Folks! We got pumpkin pie from them for our wedding and they were wonderful!

Imagine Vegan Cafe has a delicious caramel apple pie right now. And they have pumpkin whoopie pies (which aren't really pies, but hey, it works).
