If you’re not normally a fan of salads as a meal, Andrea’s lobster Cobb salad from Circa might change your mind.
I’m not sure who Andrea is, but her name is on an awesome salad.
The salad ($13) is a plate piled with romaine tossed in tangy house-made dressing flanked by avocado chunks, bacon pieces, a sliced egg, tomatoes and a pile of bleu cheese crumbles. On top, there’s a big handful of tender chunks of lobster meat. It’s light enough for summer, but the proteins make it more of a meal than a starter course.
It’s a good excuse to plan your next fancy (or, in my case, pretending-to-be-fancy) lunch date at Circa’s new-ish East Memphis location. Lunch runs from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Friday. Reservations aren’t necessary.
