Let the Shoe and Boot Outlet Blow Your Mind

Let the Shoe and Boot Outlet Blow Your Mind

In the year since I started the blog, I've visited a lot of amazing place and see some incredible things. But nothing prepared me for my trip to the Shoe and Boot Outlet on Summer Ave.

It was amazing.

Boots, Summer Ave. Shoe and Boot Outlet

The name of the store is fairly descriptive - the Shoe and Boot Outlet definitely carries shoes and boots. They're just not quite what I had in mind. I was imagining rows of sneakers, heels, work boots and cowboy boots. Instead, there are rows of shiny leather go-go boots, cowboy boots in all colors and styles, three inch marabou-trimmed stilettos, and thigh-high lace up platform heels.

The Shoe and Boot outlet is more than shoes and boots, though. Some of the other items on display included (but weren't limited to): mattresses, a giant electric candelabra chandelier, used car salesman jackets, vintage dresses, tutus, a homemade  DVD called "Meet the Macabeatles", and a two-foot tall afro wig.

Pick up a new 'do from the Shoe and Boot Outlet

I'm not sure how I missed out on the The Shoe and Boot Outlet. It's  been open for 11 years, but they've only been in their current location (in the same shopping center as Jun Lee) for two years. When I was there on Friday, I was so overwhelmed that I walked out with only a 1960's mod-style dress and plans to come back to get the pair of sweet red cowboy boots that I saw.

Haha, everytime I walk in that place (though I haven't been to the new location yet), I can't help but think Hooker Boots.

Well, I plan to check it out today to see if there's another pair of "sweet" red cowboy boots for my wish list!
